What you'd use it for

Runs a Sony PXW-FX9 for hours off a full size brick. The custom aluminium mount slides into the Extension Unit Connector on top of the camera and gives a secure platform for the battery, with a streamlined profile that packs flat into a camera case. The plate steps a 14.4V battery up to the 19.5V DC the camera wants and delivers it through the DC-In port.

The quick-hinge design keeps the camera's internal BPU battery compartment accessible, so an operator can hot swap internal and external batteries and keep rolling. Three P-Tap ports run accessories, and a digital fuse monitors current to protect the camera and anything hanging off it.

Options

Mount selects the battery interface, Gold Mount or V-Mount. The slide is otherwise identical.
