What you'd use it for

Fits the back of a RED DSMC2 V-Lock Expander Module or an Element Technica V-Mount Module and changes where the battery sits, which is what you need once DSMC2 handles are on the camera and a tall brick will not clear them. It attaches without tools and carries two P-Taps for accessory power. Compatible with RED DSMC2 Brains (Monstro, Helium, Gemini), Weapon, Epic Weapon (Epic-W), Scarlet Weapon (Scarlet-W), Raven and other DSMC2 cameras.

Options

Mount selects what the adapter converts the module to. The Gold Mount version converts the V-Lock Expander Module to an Anton Bauer Gold Mount, sitting the plate even with the top of the camera body. It does not convert Anton Bauer communication to V-Mount format, so only voltage information appears on the LCD. The V-Mount version keeps a V-Mount interface and lowers the battery position so taller batteries such as RED Bricks and Blueshape can be fitted with the DSMC2 handles in place, and it passes percentage data through to the camera LCD when present.

Technical data

Gold Mount 8075-0294. Converts the module to Anton Bauer Gold Mount, 2x P-Taps, plate sits even with the top of the camera body, voltage only on the LCD.
V-Mount 8075-0293. Retains V-Mount, 2x P-Taps, lowers the battery position for taller batteries, passes percentage data to the LCD when present.
