IBC 2026 • RAI Amsterdam
IBC has wrapped and there is a real run of new product out of it. Two new battery platforms from Anton/Bauer, the biggest Teradek release in years, new kits and Space Lights from Litepanels, new Sachtler PTZ and OB options, and three new Bagside products.
DIONIC B-Mount, 90Wh and 290Wh
Anton/Bauer is now in B-Mount, and this is the one to pay attention to. These use genuine Bebob mounts, so compatibility across the existing B-Mount ecosystem is not a question mark.
Why dual voltage actually matters
One battery delivers native 14.4V or native 28.8V depending on what it is plugged into. Not a converter, not a regulated compromise: the pack hands the device the voltage it wants. In practice a single case of batteries now runs the 28V camera, the 14V monitor, the transmitter and the on board light. You stop buying two battery fleets, stop carrying two sets of chargers, and stop having the wrong plate at the wrong end of the day. For a rental house that is a genuine cut in stock holding and cross hire.
The cameras that matter
B-Mount is where the high draw end of the market has landed. Anton/Bauer call out the ARRI ALEXA 35, ALEXA 65 and the Blackmagic URSA Cine line. Add high output LED fixtures and the case for a 290Wh block on a stand makes itself.
- Native 14.4V and 28.8V dual voltage output
- 20A continuous draw, up to 576W
- 1,000 cycles down to 60 percent capacity
- Rated minus 20C to 60C, UN38.3 and IATA certified, 2 year warranty
- USB-C and P-Tap onboard, backlit LCD showing runtime in minutes or percent
- Runtime data accounts for USB and P-Tap accessory draw, not just the camera
- Horizontal slide-and-lock mount built into the battery rather than the plate
- 90Wh version is air transport safe
Charger: QUAD 6A B-Mount Charger, SKU 8475-0148. Four bays, same platform as the Gold Mount and V-Mount QUADs.
BP-U100
Anton/Bauer build quality in the BP-U form factor, which this market has wanted for a long time. 14.4V, 6.8Ah, 97.92Wh, with 6.8A continuous discharge.
The USB-C PD port is the story
It is top mounted, so it stays clear on a tight build instead of fighting the cage, and it is bi-directional at 60W. Out, that runs a director's monitor, a wireless transmitter, an on board LED or a hand unit straight off the battery with no P-Tap to USB adaptor hanging off the rig. In, it charges at 45W from any USB-C PD source, so a laptop brick, a car charger or a power bank becomes a battery charger. If you travel light, you can stop carrying a dedicated charger altogether. P-Tap and USB-A are there for everything else.
Where it fits
Engineered around the Sony FX6, FX9 and PXW-Z280. Beyond the camera, the 60W USB-C output covers the accessories that usually need their own power: SmallHD and other on camera monitors, Teradek transmitters and receivers, small LED panels and tube lights, recorders and wireless audio. For an owner operator that is the whole rig on one battery type.
- 14.4V, 97.92Wh, 6.8A continuous
- Top mounted bi-directional 60W USB-C PD port
- Built-in P-Tap and USB-A
- Full recharge in 2 hours 40 minutes at 45W
- Rated for 2,000 charges
- IATA compliant and safe for air transport
Charger: a 140W USB-C PD charger is available alongside it, with a 2 metre cable, taking a BP-U100 from flat to full in 2 hours 40 minutes. The headroom over the battery's 45W charge rate means it will also drive a laptop or a second device, so it is one brick in the bag instead of three.
Astra IP Kits, Space Lights and new Flat Diffusion
IP Rated Kits: truck to powered on in moments
The pitch is simple. Open the case, put the lights up, clip on a battery, shoot. No cables to find, no adaptor missing, nothing that stops working when it starts raining.
- Astra IP Half or 1x1 Bi-Color panels, in Duo (2 light) or Trio (3 light)
- Weatherproof battery bracket with 3-Pin female XLR, in Gold Mount, V-Mount or BP-U (single or dual)

Soft Case Kits: the lighter travel option
Same idea, less case. A broadcast quality two light travel kit in a Litepanels soft carry case, for the jobs where weight and speed beat armour.
- 2x Astra IP Half, 2x Astra IP 1x1, or one of each
- Medium diffusers and regional power cables (US, EU, UK, ANZ)
- Lightweight, durable light carry case
ANZ part numbers: 936-2412 (1x1 and Half Duo), 936-2422 (Half Duo)
Space Light Kits for the 2x1
New Space Light kits for the 2x1 range, in Long (900-3670) and Short (900-3671). A Space Light turns a hard panel into a 360 degree soft ambient source hung overhead, which is how you light a set or a studio floor evenly without a stand in every corner of the shot.
The Short kit suits lower ceilings and tighter studio grids, and keeps the fixture up out of frame in a low room. The Long kit gives a taller, broader column of soft light with more falloff control, which is the one for stage work, large interiors and any set where talent needs to walk through the space without hitting a stand.
It earns its place on studio and news floors, virtual production volumes, car rigs, corporate and interview sets, and anywhere the grip time saved on stands pays for the fixture. Kits include the silk, the mounting adapter and a target.
New Flat Diffusion Panels
Astra IP Half, 1x1 and 2x1 now have a full lineup of flat diffusion: Heavy, Medium, Light, Ultra Light and Super Ultra Light, joining the original medium. They slide straight into the fixture's front accessory rails, so you can dial beam softening precisely instead of choosing between bare and boxed.
Pole mounts
Optional pole mounts are now available across the full Astra IP range. Useful anywhere a stand will not go: rigged off a grid, onto scaff, or up out of the way in a fixed install.
Bolt 7

Teradek are calling this the most significant update to Bolt since the original launched in 2013, and the claim holds up. Bolt 7 is the first Bolt that moves data as well as video. Alongside the familiar zero-delay 12G-SDI link sits a new, dedicated 900MHz radio that behaves like a wireless Ethernet or USB cable: camera control, colour management and telemetry, with no on-set WiFi network to build and babysit.
What the data channel opens up
- Camera control direct from a remote SmallHD monitor (SmallHD camera control licence required), CTRL.5, laptop or iPad
- Control multiple SmallHD monitors from a single Bolt
- Push LUTs and CDLs live from tools like Pomfort Live Grade
- Shading and telemetry sent alongside the video feed, built for multicamera broadcast
- USB serial support for direct connection to cameras like the RED KOMODO via a 9-pin port
For a DIT or a broadcast engineer, that is a cable run, a router and a separate data link gone from the build.
The hardware
- Up to 4K60 10-bit 4:2:2 HDR over 12G-SDI
- TX is 20 percent smaller than the Bolt 6 XT, Teradek's most compact 12G-SDI transmitter yet
- 750 (228m), 1500 (450m) and MAX (up to 1.5km) models
- Colour OLED display, optional single cable pairing and redesigned battery plate cradles
- RX MAX can record to SD card and, via Ethernet to a Link AX, feed iPads through the Teradek TV app
- Video is compatible with Bolt 4K and Bolt 6; the 900MHz data link runs between Bolt 7 units only
Ace Micro TX
Teradek's smallest zero-delay transmitter, and the one that turns an iPhone into a proper wireless camera. A single USB-C cable carries video and communication, so the phone drops straight into an existing Bolt setup without relying on WiFi.
- Up to 4K 30p uncompressed, at ranges up to 150m
- Up to six receivers, under 1ms latency, over 5GHz and 6GHz
- Cross compatible with Bolt 4K, Bolt 6, Bolt 7 and Ace 750
Behind the scenes, a crash cam or a social angle running alongside the main cameras, all landing on the same monitors as everything else.
OLED 16

A 16 inch 4K OLED production monitor built for the DIT cart, the DP stand and video village. OLED gives you true blacks, shadow detail and no haloing; SmallHD's chassis means it survives the shoot.
- 3840 x 2160, true 10-bit, 1,000,000:1 contrast
- Up to 400 nits, aimed at SDR and roll off HDR monitoring rather than daylight
- 4x 12G-SDI in/out and HDMI 2.0 in/out
- Four machined multi-function dials plus joystick and wheel for direct PageOS control
- Integrated WiFi and Fleet Control to push LUTs and settings across monitors
- Pomfort Livegrade plug-in and Calman calibration support
- Aircraft grade aluminium unibody, 4.72kg
At 400 nits it is not the outdoor monitor; for bright conditions the Cine 4K range is the pick. As a side by side reference next to a DIT, it is exactly the right size.
Motorised wheels, Micro Slider and a new slider motor
Motorised wheels for the Bagstation
Powered wheels that turn the Bagstation into a self propelled cart, controlled hands free from an app. They run on V-Mount batteries, and the wheel unit doubles as a charger for them, so the same batteries that move the cart keep the rest of the kit alive. The obvious win is location work: long pushes from the truck, uneven ground, car parks and slopes, without a second body on the handle.
Micro Slider and the new motor
A compact slider to sit alongside the existing larger one, for tight spaces, tabletop and detail work where the full length version will not fit. The new motor attaches to either slider and is driven from the app, so if you buy the Micro now you are not buying a second motor when you add the larger one later.
Coming soon: folding side shelf and umbrella
A folding side shelf that gives you a second work surface when you need it and disappears when you do not, and a Bagside umbrella for the cart. Both are the sort of thing you understand instantly the first time you are stuck on a hot location without them.

PTZ systems and OB supports
PTZ support, properly solved
PTZ cameras keep getting put on whatever stand is nearest, and it shows on air. Sachtler now has a full ladder of purpose built PTZ systems, from a static tripod through to a studio pedestal, plus the adaptor plates that sort out the mounting mess across brands.
- PTZ Tripod System (S2172-0006): static positioning where the camera rarely moves
- PTZ Tripod and Dolly System (S2172-0007): the same, with floor repositioning
- PTZ Tripod System 75 HD (S2034-0006): heavy duty 75mm tripod with PTZ adaptor
- PTZ HD Tripod and Dolly System (S2036-0008): takes a prompter
- PTZ HD Pedestal System (S2036-0009): full studio pedestal with height adjustment
- Universal PTZ Plate, PTZ and Prompter Plate, and 75mm, 100mm, 150mm, Mitchell and pedestal bases
OB systems
The OB variants run 160mm wheels instead of the studio 125mm, which is the difference between crossing a cable run cleanly and fighting it all day. Eight systems across Vario pedestals and OB 2000 tripods, from 35kg through to 115kg payload. The 1-70 column suits static height work, the 2-80 gives 77cm of travel for seated to standing moves. The OB 2000 tripod systems are the one person portable alternative for uneven ground.
We have written the full selection guide, with payloads, strokes and system weights side by side: Read the OB systems guide.
Pioneer Series Studio Bundles
A complete studio prompter in one box, pitched at the corporate studio, education and regional broadcast end of the market where a full custom build is overkill. Prompter, clock, tally and talent monitor all arrive together and all work together, which is the part that usually costs a week of integration.
- 17 inch and 19 inch prompter options
- High brightness monitor in a metal housing
- Clock and tally light package included
- 22 inch talent monitor and mounting solution in the bundle
OpenMoon
We have taken on OpenMoon. They make the working end of a camera department: the slates, tags, marks, pouches and supports that get used every single day.
- Clapperboards: walnut slates, a metadata tag slate with 68 tags, and the OpenMoon x Aputure tri colour light slate for night exteriors
- Filter tags and pouches: printed hook-and-loop filter tags, camera A B C D tags, padded single filter sleeves
- Camera support: Cinesaddle beanbag supports, chest supporting D bag, shoulder pads
- Monitor hoods: 3.5 through 6 inch, including Transvideo and RED fit
- Set consumables: reusable silicone T marks, gaffer tape lanyards, apple box seat cushions
- Carry: belts, crossbody straps, translucent pouches, daily carry pouches
The Crew Gear Box
The one to start with. A rigid, padded gear box built for a camera department's working kit, sized to sit on a cart and survive a truck.
Now would you look at that lid! Clear, colour coded pouches (add-on) sit in the lid panel so the AC can see every consumable without unpacking anything, and the modular pouches on the front come off and go on a belt or a cart rail. Twin top handles, shoulder strap, bungee top and a side bottle pocket.
- Medium 480 x 280 x 290mm, Large 620 x 320 x 320mm, plus a Large Roller for the longer walks
- Four colours on M and L: Space Black, Desert Tan, Blaze Red and Field Olive
- Removable modular front pouches, clear colour coded lid pouches
- Padded, structured body that holds its shape loaded or empty
Those four colourways are how a rental house tells departments apart on a loading dock at 5am without opening anything.
A full OpenMoon launch is coming shortly with the complete range and stock position. This is the heads up. In the meantime you can browse the OpenMoon range.
