The short version: the Gold Mount bracket for Panasonic DVCPRO and P2 cameras, with one P-Tap and the Automatique light switch.

What you'd use it for

This is the OEM style bracket for Panasonic DVCPRO and P2 shoulder cameras. It connects through a 2 pin Molex for power and a 3 pin Hirose for the Gold Mount protocol.

You get one P-Tap for an on camera light or receiver. There is also an Automatique switch. Turn it on and the P-Tap only goes live while the camera is recording, so an on camera light switches off when you pause and stops chewing through the battery. Turn it off and the P-Tap is live all the time.
