The short version: turns a Sony broadcast camera's V-Mount into Gold Mount, with a P-Tap that can switch your camera light with record.

What you'd use it for

The QR-SDH swaps a Sony broadcast camera from V-Mount over to Gold Mount, so it can run Anton Bauer batteries.

It has one P-Tap with a 7 amp internal fuse and a neat trick called Automatique. With the switch off, the P-Tap is always live. Switch it on and the P-Tap only comes alive while the camera is recording, so your on camera light switches off when you pause. That saves battery run time over a long news day.

In real world terms

  • Accessory power? 1 P-Tap with a 7 amp internal fuse.
  • Automatique? Switches the P-Tap on with record and off on pause.

Works with

Sony Digital Betacam, HD, IMX, SX, XDCam EX and XDCam HD cameras.
