Half strength Sodium light effect, designed for use with daylight sources.

What you'd use it for

A colour effect gel rather than a correction filter — you'd reach for it for the look it gives, not to match one source to another. It's a dense gel at about 3 stops, so rig more light than you think you need.

Technical data

Transmission Y (daylight) 13.7%
Transmission Y (tungsten) 15.1%
Light loss approx. 3 stops

Figures published by LEE Filters. Light loss is calculated from LEE's transmission figure.
