The short version: a tough, weatherproof bi colour light for on camera and run and gun news work.

What you'd use it for

The Brick Bi Color is built for news crews and ENG shooters. It sits on top of the camera or on a small stand, it is IP65 rated so a bit of weather does not stop play, and it has a P-Tap connector built in so you can run it straight off the camera battery.

Use it as an on camera fill for door stops and live crosses, or pop it on a stand as a small key or kicker.

In real world terms

  • How tough? IP65: dust tight and protected against water jets.
  • How heavy? 0.68 kg, so the camera does not notice it.
  • How do I power it? From a battery via the built in P-Tap, or the optional power supply.
