With Ace in your corner, stability and smoothness comes with every shot. It simplifies your setup with camera plate markers, stepped counterbalance and quick pan and tilt adjustments. Ace XL supports camera rigs weighing up to 8kg (17.6lbs), with nine steps of balance to quickly match your payload. A 104mm (4.1in) balance plate sliding range helps position accessorised cameras centrally and Sachtler drag gives smooth movement in any temperature. Ace XL also includes an illuminated level bubble to keep things straight in any location and detachable threaded stud for when you want to swap to a slider. This Ace XL system is light in weight but not in features, so go further, climb higher and capture that winning shot unplanned or in the heat of the moment.
Every package carries the same head and the same carry case, and every tripod in the range takes three 3/8” accessory mounting points on the bowl so you can add something extra to your rig like a Magic Arm, plus a carry handle so you’re always ready to chase down the shot.

Choose Tripod first, then Spreader. Aluminium 75/2 is the lightweight 2-stage aluminium 75mm tripod, portable without sacrificing strength, and it is the value choice. Carbon Fibre 75/2 is the ultra-lightweight 2-stage version of the same tripod and keeps its weight to a minimum without sacrificing strength. flowtech75 is the 2-stage carbon fibre flowtech tripod, which Sachtler calls the world’s fastest: quick release brakes sit at the top of the legs so they can be deployed and adjusted in an instant, a hinge lock lets the tripod be deployed without a spreader for ultra-low and high shots, and a magnetic lock holds the legs together for transport.
Spreader sets what steadies the legs. Mid level gives stability no matter how rocky the road, and on the flowtech75 packages it is an adjustable mid-level spreader rather than the flowtech-style spreader fitted to the 75/2 tripods. Ground gives maximum stability wherever you are and is the usual choice on a flat floor. Every combination ships in a carry case.
