The short version: a side plate that hangs a wireless receiver or hard drive right next to the battery.

What you'd use it for

Wireless receivers and recorders always need a home on the camera, and they always need power. This plate attaches directly to the metal backplate of any Gold Mount, so you can mount a wireless receiver or a hard drive alongside the battery where it is close to its power and out of the way.

It is the plate only, which suits you if you already have the mounting hardware sorted.
