The short version: a universal V-Mount battery plate you can bolt onto just about anything.

What you'd use it for

Not everything on set comes with a battery plate built in. This universal bracket takes a V-Mount battery and gives you power two ways: a 10A fused PowerTap for plugging in accessories, and open positive and negative wires so a tech can wire it straight into a custom rig, a light, a cart or a monitor build.

If you are building something bespoke and want it to run off the same V-Mount batteries as the rest of the kit, this is the starting point.

Good to know

  • The open leads need to be terminated by someone who knows what they are doing.
