What you'd use it for

Puts an Anton Bauer battery on the back of a Blackmagic URSA so the camera and its accessories run off one brick. The Pro plates use a Blackmagic URSA Molex connector that attaches directly to the back of the camera and is covered by the plate, so there is no external power cable to dress or snag. Rental houses and owner operators fit these when they want a single battery format across a mixed camera package.

Options

Mount selects the battery interface, Gold Mount or V-Mount. Version selects the plate. The Standard plate is listed for the URSA Mini and URSA and is offered in V-Mount only. The Pro plate is listed for the URSA Mini, URSA Mini Pro and URSA, and adds a rugged aluminium body, a third P-Tap, a digital fuse with reset button, a rear cover plate and captive mounting screws.

Technical data

V-Mount, Standard 8075-0264. V-Mount battery bracket for the URSA Mini and URSA.
Gold Mount, Pro 8075-0265. Aluminium body, Blackmagic URSA Molex connector, 3x P-Taps at battery voltage of 12V to 16V, digital fuse with reset button, rear cover plate, captive mounting screws.
V-Mount, Pro 8075-0266. As above with a V-Mount battery interface.

Should the set accessory current be exceeded, only the accessory outputs are disabled and the camera keeps running. Once the load has been reduced, the reset button re-enables accessory power.
