What you'd use it for

Dionic XT is Anton/Bauer's high output 14V battery for demanding cine and documentary work. It delivers 12A constant current with 20A peak and 75A inrush, so cameras and hungry LED panels can draw what they need without fuss.

The backlit LCD on the battery, or the camera viewfinder, shows exactly how much runtime is left, and it counts everything being powered, including whatever is plugged into the USB and P-Tap ports. It is rated to work from minus 20°C to 60°C.

Which one do I need?

  • V-Mount or Gold Mount: V-Mount is the popular choice and what most cameras and lights take these days. Go Gold Mount if your camera or battery fleet already runs on Gold Mount.
  • 90Wh or 150Wh: 90Wh is lighter and travels easily. 150Wh runs longer and suits lighting.

In real world terms

  • How much can it push? 12A constant, 20A peak, 75A inrush.
  • How long? The 90Wh runs cine and documentary cameras for over two hours. The 150Wh can power LED panels like the Litepanels Gemini at full intensity.
  • Extra outputs? P-Tap and USB for monitors, transmitters and accessories.
  • Flying? Safety certified to UN38.3 IATA lithium ion rules. The 90Wh is under 100Wh, the usual airline carry on limit, but check with your airline.
