The short version: runs a camera off two Micro batteries, in V-Mount or Gold Mount, so you can swap one without powering down.
What you'd use it for
Two Micro batteries on the back of the camera means you can pull one and swap it while the other keeps the camera running. Or run a single battery when weight matters more than run time.
There are two styles. The Bracket mounts to the camera on flying leads and will also take one full size battery. The Plate fits onto a bracket already on your camera and turns it into a two Micro battery setup. Both give you two P-Taps for accessories.
In real world terms
-
Hot swap? Yes. It draws from either Micro battery, so you can change one without stopping.
-
Accessory power? Two P-Tap.
Good to know
-
Which one do I need? Pick your mount first. V-Mount is the popular choice; Gold Mount is there if your batteries already run on Gold Mount. Then pick the style.
- Bracket (8375-0238 VM, 8375-0236 GM): fits the camera on flying leads, takes two Micro batteries or one full size battery.
- Plate (8375-0239 VM, 8375-0237 GM): a 2 to 1 hot swap plate that goes onto an existing bracket of the same mount.
Works with
Titon Micro batteries in the matching mount.
