The short version: the premium 14.4V broadcast battery in V-Mount or Gold Mount, for news, sport and OB, where failure is not an option.

What you'd use it for

Titon is the battery for daily broadcast work: news crews, sport and outside broadcasts. It delivers a dependable 10A of 14.4V power with multiple levels of protection for the camera and everything running off it.

Reach for it on jobs where the crew needs power that behaves the same way every single time.

Which one do I need?

  • V-Mount or Gold Mount: V-Mount is the popular choice and what most cameras take these days. Go Gold Mount if your camera or battery fleet already runs on Gold Mount.
  • 90Wh: lightest, and under 100Wh, the usual airline carry on limit (check with your airline).
  • 150Wh: the all day middle ground.
  • 240Wh: maximum runtime for long shifts and power hungry rigs.

In real world terms

  • Voltage? 14.4V.
  • How much can it push? 10A continuous.
  • Extra outputs? P-Tap and USB.
  • How heavy? About 0.8 kg for the 90Wh.

Good to know

  • Two year warranty.
  • Need something smaller for mirrorless or compact cine rigs? Look at the Titon Micro.
