A strong diffuser (pliable to handle) that virtually eliminates shadows at close distance.

What you'd use it for

Scatters light more widely than white diffusion, knocking out shadow edges and hot spots. Quiet grades are made for sound stages where a rustling gel is a problem. It's a dense gel at about 3⅔ stops, so rig more light than you think you need.
