The Horizon Monitor arm gives you freedom to place your monitor in a number of positions above and to the side of the camera, but remains compact, quick to adjust (it can easily be adjusted and locked with one hand), and always keeps the monitor level.
The Horizon Arm:
The horizon arm is designed to be attached to the front of a camera top handle at one end, with a 3/8 ARRI pin monitor mount attached at the opposite end. The most ideal monitor mount is Light Widow's 3-Axis Monitor Mount, but it is also compatible with other mounts such as the pan/swivel mounts from Kondor Blue or Smallrig, plus many others. The arm rotates between 16 different quick-locking positions, and at the same time always keeps the monitor orientation consistent. This means that if you have your monitor level and move the horizon arm to a new position, your monitor will remain level. The arm can also be attached in a number of other locations or orientations, and can even be combined with a second arm using the included L-Bracket for combined side-to-side and front-to-back movement. A quick-release thumb lever locks/unlocks the arm's position. The horizon arm attaches to a top handle's female ⅜ ARRI pin interface on one end, and contains both a female ⅜ ARRI pin interface and a custom Light Widow interface to receive a monitor mount on the other end.
The L-Bracket:
The included L-Bracket is a simple 90 degree male to female adapter that can be used for attaching the Horizon arm to the top of a top handle (especially useful for when the front of the top handle is already in use by something like a rangefinder), or can be used for attaching the 3-Axis monitor mount (sold separately) to the Horizon arm in different configurations that work best for various shooting styles.
