With Ace in your corner, stability and smoothness comes with every shot. It simplifies your setup with camera plate markers, stepped counterbalance and quick pan and tilt adjustments. Ace M supports camera rigs weighing up to 4kg (8.8lbs), with five steps of balance to quickly match your payload. The balance plate has 104mm (4.1in) sliding range to make sure you can position accessorised cameras centrally on the head. Sachtler drag gives smooth movement in any temperature. This Ace M system is light in weight but not in features, so go further, climb higher and capture that winning shot unplanned or in the heat of the moment.

Both packages run the same lightweight 2-stage aluminium 75mm tripod, portable without sacrificing strength. With three 3/8” accessory mounting points on the tripod bowl you can add something extra to your rig like a Magic Arm. Or attach the carry handle so you’re always ready to chase down the shot. And when the road is long, Ace comes with a carry case for protection on the go.

One selector, Spreader. The head, the tripod and the case are the same in both packages, so the only difference is what steadies the legs. Mid level, part number 1001M, takes the detachable flowtech-style mid-level spreader, which Sachtler describes as stability no matter how rocky the road. Ground, part number 1002M, takes the detachable ground spreader for maximum stability wherever you are. Sachtler quotes the mid level package at 4.4kg (9.7lbs) and the ground package at 4.5kg (9.9lbs).
