With the power to support payloads up to 18 kg (39.7 lbs) the lightweight aktiv18T offers 15 steps of counterbalance, allowing you to finely match your camera rig and quickly dial in balance time after time. 7 steps of Sachtler drag ensure smooth movement at all speeds and in any environment, while the Touch & Go platform allows one-handed mounting of the camera into a preset position, so you're always ready to capture the next shot. The T in aktiv18T denotes that Touch & Go platform. All aktiv™ fluid heads feature revolutionary SpeedLevel™ technology. Release, level, and lock your head tightly into the perfect position without missing a second of action. Clear confirmation that the camera is level comes from the illuminated PrismBubble visible from any height or angle, day or night.

The 2-stage carbon fibre flowtech® tripod has unique quick release brakes at the top which can be deployed and adjusted in an instant, and a versatile hinge lock mechanism that allows it to be deployed without a spreader for ultra-low and high shots. Its ergonomic design makes the tripod comfortable to carry, on your shoulder or with the carry handle, and the legs are held together by a magnetic lock for transportation. A padded carrying bag completes the package.

Both configurations carry the same aktiv18T fluid head on the same flowtech100 tripod, so the Spreader selector is the only choice to make. Mid level, part number S2088T-FTMS, ships with an adjustable mid-level spreader and rubber feet. Ground, part number S2088T-FTGS, ships with an adjustable ground spreader. A padded carrying bag is included either way. The two are priced differently, so check the price against the option you have selected.
