What you'd use it for
The Sachtler Video 25 Plus is a lightweight yet powerful fluid head, supporting payloads of up to 35 kg / 77.2 lb for both studio and outside broadcast production. Its seven-step fluid drag system delivers smooth, precise pan and tilt control, while the 18-step counterbalance system ensures secure camera positioning so you can focus on capturing the perfect shot.
The Touch & Go quick release mechanism provides automatic locking and enables one-handed camera mounting in a pre-set position, ready for the next take. Sachtler's frictionless leak proof fluid damping with seven levels of drag helps with smooth panning and there is a sliding balance plate too. Options
All three configurations carry the same Video 25 Plus fluid head. The Configuration selector chooses the legs and the spreader.
EFP 2 D with Dolly (2514) is supplied on the Sachtler EFP 2 D, a two-stage aluminium tripod especially suited to field production. Sachtler's quick clamping system lets you visibly lock the tripod in seconds for maximum security, and once in place the continuous twin tubes keep the tripod stable. It features a 150 mm spherical shell, 22 mm tube diameter and a maximum height of 161 cm, with a capacity of 90 kg.
EFP 2 Carbon Fibre (2515) and EFP 2 MCF (2516) share the same 2-stage carbon fibre EFP tripod. Its carbon fibre construction, 22 mm (0.87 in) diameter and 4.1 kg (9 lb) weight mean you will not be wasting energy or space carrying it to any location, and the quick clamping system locks the legs in position in seconds. Both are completed by a sturdy padded bag with wheels. The difference between them is the spreader: EFP 2 Carbon Fibre includes an adjustable ground spreader for maximum stability on flat surfaces, and EFP 2 MCF includes an adjustable mid-level spreader for maximum stability on rough ground.
