The short version: turns any P-Tap battery into a 100W USB-C fast charger.

What you'd use it for

Pretty much everything on a modern shoot charges over USB-C: phones, tablets, laptops, monitors, even some cameras. This adapter plugs into the P-Tap on any V-Mount or Gold Mount battery and gives you a proper USB-C Power Delivery output, so the battery already on the rig can top up the laptop at the DIT cart or keep a monitor alive.

It talks to the device you plug in and gives it the voltage it asks for, so it is safe across everything from a phone to a laptop.

In real world terms

  • How much power? Up to 100W continuous.
  • Which voltages? 5V, 9V, 12V and 15V at 3A, and 20V at 5A, picked automatically by the device.
  • Input? 9 to 32V DC, 12A max.
  • How long? 18 inch (about 46 cm) cable, with the adapter box sitting in the middle to take strain off both plugs.
  • Which way? One way only: it powers USB-C devices, it does not charge the battery.

Any P-Tap equipped V-Mount or Gold Mount battery, including Titon Micro, Titon and Dionic XT.
